I agree, it looks like something out of the Pacific theater.

Whan are you going to replace that Brownie and get a camera that takes color pictures? We'll never know if that Mustang was green or blue on top otherwise.

I will start using a color camera when you start to spell correctly, and take notice that there arent any Mustangs in the pics I posted on this thread.

Just kidding! Actually they are all in color...But I dont really care for them to be in color.
And what Mustang are you talking about???

And thanks for the compliments for those who left them.

Those look great! Just have the mechanic lose the apron, seems they weren't used that much.

Well then you need to lear how to use an apostrophe in the word "aren't" buddy!

Yes I did notice that there weren't any Mustangs in your photos. What I'm referring to is the long winded discusions whether or not some period Mustangs had green or blue upper surfaces. Some claim that the green color faded to blue in aging color slides (I guess).

Thats always been a topic of discussion when we are doing research. Maybe not with slides..but looking at and going off of black and white photos.

Thanks Brian! The Museum has a group called the Living History Group. Most of us portray the different postions for the B-17 when we are on the road.

All I am saying fellows is that the aprons were issued but due to the problems of putting them on and off as well as the infamous pain in the shoulders from any weighty tools they were left behind and like today the coverall pockets were used for carrying tools. Also I am an Air Force tech sgt. not an english major. so I appologize for my not being perfect on my grammar or punctuation.
