The EAA B-17 will be on display at Lawrence Airport. The plane will be there for three days. We have been working with the local hosting party the EAA Chapter 106, to broaden the display with a number of our squadron planes.
All members are invited to join in this historic event. On Saturday there will be a barbeque (Pig-roast!) for the B-17 crew, EAA 106 members and squadron 7 members!
All squadron members are invited. So, come on down to Lawrence and help us make this a great event for the EAA, for our Chapter 106 and Squadron 7!
A special section of the ramp adjacent to the B-17 will be roped off for a static display of Squadron 7 airplanes.
There is an opportunity to fly Young Eagles during that time period. Parking fees and overnight fees are waved for squadron members who participate in the static display. Also, special discount fuel prices for participating squadron members!
