Anyone comming to the MAPS airshow in Akron on Father's Day weekend? Looks like it is gonna be a great show. If you are in the area stop by. Today POF F6F showed up at the museum and the P-38 was on its way in when I left.

We are suposed to have (subject to change) the East Coast A-10 Demo team as well as the F/A 18 E/F demo team, T-6 Texan II demo, couple of F-5's, two heirtage flights and one legacy flight, B-17, T-33, Ju-52, B-25, Spit, C-60, COD, and S2F to name a few. A British film crew is comming in to do a documentory on the planes that were at the Battle of Midway so they are doing some photo shoots with the PBY, SBD, Zero, and Kate. It sounds like it is gonna be a great show. If your in the area or have nothing else to do come one down.

I want to meet up, but do not know if that is possible with my working times. I have to work on the line crew. So I will get there bright and early way before the gates open and leave way after the gates close.

Just got back from the airport where the F/A-18 E/F Demo team arrived along with the T-6 Texan II Demo team. Black Cat PBY from FL came in, which is beautiful!! I toured it for a long time. What a work of art.
