Anyone comming to the MAPS airshow in Akron on Father's Day weekend? Looks like it is gonna be a great show. If you are in the area stop by. Today POF F6F showed up at the museum and the P-38 was on its way in when I left. We are suposed to have (subject to change) the East Coast A-10 Demo team as well as the F/A 18 E/F demo team, T-6 Texan II demo, couple of F-5's, two heirtage flights and one legacy flight, B-17, T-33, Ju-52, B-25, Spit, C-60, COD, and S2F to name a few. A British film crew is comming in to do a documentory on the planes that were at the Battle of Midway so they are doing some photo shoots with the PBY, SBD, Zero, and Kate. I want to meet up, but do not know if that is possible with my working times. I have to work on the line crew. So I will get there bright and early way before the gates open and leave way after the gates close. |

Just got back from the airport where the F/A-18 E/F Demo team arrived along with the T-6 Texan II Demo team. Black Cat PBY from FL came in, which is beautiful!! I toured it for a long time. What a work of art. |

Just got back tonight. Was ther for over 14 hours. I got a free ride on the Black Cat PBY!!! It was amazing!!! Well to tired to type more.
