JAM Open House July 24th

Just wanted to let everyone know what's happening for this years open house.

We are still on schedule to have our first JAM T-Bird flying for the open house. 133346 is coming together nicely, with the engine just re-installed, and the tail section now been worked on. We will also be visited by 133577, which will come in from Waterloo. If you were at the Waterloo airshow, that was the one parked at the JAM trailer. We could have both aircraft doing a few passes for the event.

We have 2 more jets confirmed so far, Viper North will be bringing their Mig-15, and Steve Milligan will be there with his L-39.

Aircraft that are tentative at this time: CF-18, Fouga Magister, L-29, and, fingers crossed, an F-104 Starfighter! I imagine that there are other aircraft being wooed by our Director of Flying Operations.

The event runs from 10:00 to 16:00, and there will be a BBQ buffet served for lunch. The event is free, but the buffet is 10$/person, and $5 for 10 and under.

I'll update you on aircraft arrivals and confirmations as they happen. Should be a great day.

And, if you play golf, we will be holding our second annual golf tournament on Friday, July 23rd. This will be held at Fanshawe Golf Course, and we hope to include a few T-33 flyovers as well by 577. All the details and registration form are available on our website.
