This is interesting, but unfortunately just another static exhibit for what has transitioned over the last few years from a "flying museum" to a "static display museum". It will be an interesting exhibit to look at if driving thru Kansas City, but unless they can eventually manage to get the Super Connie back in the air and going to air shows again, I cannot get too excited about the Airline History Museum. |

Super cool. My all time favorite airliner. I was wondering if they'd ever get permission to fly it to K.C. |

Thanks for posting this. I never realised that the old Tristar was getting such a rare bird in the air. One of the reasons I never did as well at school as I should have is because I was watching Tristars and DC-10's, Ambassadors, HS.748's and Shorts 330 / 360's taking off from Glasgow airport from the classroom. Always was a dreamer! |
