Post subject:  Three good airshows coming up down under & support acts

Just a heads-up for those in the northern hemisphere, there's three good airshows coming with significant vintage and veteran input in Australasia.

See:

RAAF Museum Airshow

February 28, 2010
RAAF Williams Point Cook Vic, Australia.
visit: www.airforce.gov.au/raafmuseum

Nothing official as to attendance released yet, but each of the last bi-annual shows has had a wide array of types flown at a great venue - not forgetting the RAAF Museum is there as well. This is the great show you didn't get to hear about - except from here.

Warbirds Over Wanaka 2010

APRIL 2,3,4, 2010
Wanaka, New Zealand. Information and
tickets at www.warbirdsoverwanaka.com

One of the top warbird shows around. I'm told if you haven't been you need to go. This year might have one or two types that haven't been seen around for quite a while in the air.

A Centenary of Australian Aviation

April 18
Tyabb Vic.–
http://www.tyabbairshow.com.au/

Tyabb has a great local show with a mix of all kinds of aircraft. Home to the world's only airworthy P-40F, that's certainly on the list, as will be an array of other stuff you won't get to see north of the equator.

And don't forget -

Temora Aviation Museum Flying Days
30-31 January and April 10 – 11.
www.aviationmuseum.com.au

Wings Over Illawarra
Feburary 28. Albion Park, NSW, Aus.
www.woi.org.au or www.hars.org

Both showcasing aircraft some impossible or rare to see anywhere else.

Happy to try and field any questions!

Regards,
