Hi all, for those of you in the Los Angeles / Southern California area, I am doing a brief (free) 20-min lecture and Q&A for the B-17 Combat Crewman's Association this coming weekend, at their March meeting at Long Beach convention center. Sunday, March 13th at 1pm.
The topic will be the first American Bombing Mission to Rabaul, February 23, 1942, and America's first combat loss in that theater: a B-17E 41-2446
Also, I will be debuting the new DVD 'The Swamp Ghost' about this historic bomber, its mission and visiting it.
