I just got back in from Quonset and cutting my grass. Was at show center from about noon on.
Saw Sean Tucker, Mike Goulian, Ed Hamill and John Klatt all out practicing.
Watched the Blues get their bearings and left when the F-16 demo team arrived. I know the Horsemen arrived later and so did the Snowbirds.
Looks like a good show, just gotta keep an eye on the weather.
Even though I only live in CT, I haven't been to a Quonset show since 1979! To many family things, vacations, bad weather, and working airshows were falling on the same date. This year...nothing!
The museum has a special treat tomorrow night in the hangar. It's currently under wraps so I don't want to spoil it, and I promised I wouldn't post any pics, but it is a stunning aircraft!
I'll be going on Saturday with the family, so maybe I'll run into some WIX'ers there. Anybody want to pick a time and place?
Maybe the Quonset TBM at 11:00am?
