Classic Air Rallye, Ottawa, 23 & 24 August 2008

The Classic Air Rallye is this weekend at the Canada Aviation Museum in Ottawa. This is a small show, but well run with a number of aircraft in attendance including the Vintage Wings fleet.

Amazing got two great days of flying!
I'll pass this along of a friend's Morris Minor with the VWC Tiger Moth a scene from any flying club in the UK or Canada in the 50s - 60s.
His comments were interesting also.
"The Air Show worker that arranged this shot told me that he had been a London "Bobby" in the late sixties and he and three other Constables drove around in one of these (a blue and white Morris Minor with Police markings) enforcing the law. He was a big strapping individual so it must have been a tight squeeze!"
