The dates for Thunder 08 will be August 9th and 10th.

This will be a big year, as it is 10 years of the show.

Wow 10! I remember the first Mustang/Mustang Gathering. I have been there for every one. Can't wait.

I've only been going for 3 years, but I'll mark the date. 8) Look forward to finding out what the theme is.

I'd really like to have another go at a Battle of Britain theme. I think there is a pretty good chance we could have at least seven fighters if all other factors work out. I'll bet there are a lot of people that would love to see the Lanc with a proper escort.

I hope they are going to have the ground demonstration back next year too. I was disappointed they didn't have it this year.

Sorry for being slightly off topic, but I want to share this... From what I understand plans are underway to have the Lanc fly with 3 Spitfires and 3 Hurricaines at next year's Fathers Day Weekend in Hamilton Ontario.

As for Thunder, I can't wait, whatever gets put on will be impressive. This year my friend and I are definitely doing the photo pit/tour, get the full enjoyment out of the show! (I suppose to get the FULL enjoyment out of the show I'd have to be in one of those cockpits, but I can't afford a warbird yet!)

Has any decision been made yet for a theme for the 2008 show?

We will have the web site up just after the first of the year, after that we will start to add aircraft to the list.

I'm going to plan to go to both Saturday and Sundays show. I just sent Tom a E-mail requesting the photo tour and Pit.

Now that I'm in TN I'm a whole hour closer to the show (that puts it at 9 hours instead of a 10-hour drive)

Tim
