June 6-7-8 2008 at Reading Regional- General Carl A. Spaatz (USAF) Field (KRDG)
http://www.maam.org/wwii/ww2_sched.htm

I'll be there with the WWII Airmen's Preservation Society, Capitol Wing, with my display of WWII aircraft radios, and Instrument Field Test Set, among other WWII USAAF items....

Anyone else going to be there? We wouldn't mind having a WWII A/C parked near us ;)

Stop by if you are in the area!

Robbie

I might be there, depends on weather and funds. I've gone for the last 2 years and was not disappointed, even though for one of the show days it started out raining! Made for some good "mood" shots of the flying. It's about an 8-10 hour drive so we'll see.

I can't make it.... So you might have a good chance it won't be a wash out.

I wish I could see what the P-61 looks like now after 2 years.

We were thinking the same thing.

We are still not sure if we want to get wet in Reading, then go to Quebec City the following weekend.

I notice nothing on the roster yet from Fighter Factory, which usually brings 1 or 2 planes. Wonder what's up; hope we get a nice surprise.

From what I understand most of the Fighter Factory's planes that usually go to MAAM will be at the Cherry Point Air Show in NC the same weekend.

THREE WEEKS! CAN"T WAIT!!! :D :D :D

If any WIXers are there, Look Me Up! I will have my WWII Bomber Radio(SCR-274) setup with the Airmen's Preservation Society display, out in the reenactor's section.(Also- the Field Instrument Testing Set)

I will either be dressed as a Staff Sgt.(WWII) or a Capt.(WWII) USAAF

I am mostly a lurker on WIX but last year at Reading, I had the pleasure of meeting the one and only Mudge and Mrs. Mudge right off the nose of the awesome P-61! Really very nice people. So I'm looking forward to running into other WIXers this year too. I will be the gal with long hair making customized dog tags under the wing of the Yankee Air Museum's Gooney Bird if we're set up similar to last year, so come on by and say hi. And you all pray for nice weather, ok? Linda

We'll be there with the C-54. No FDR or MacArthur taxiing this year, though.

Just static for tours.

I will have my Jeep there though.

Stop by.
