Post subject: | 60th Anniversary Celebration @ Hanscom AFB CANX! |
I just got this message from the EAA WB Sq. 7 Commander, If anyone is interested in attending, contact Tom or I can FWD your info to him. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone: As many of you know this year it is 60 years ago that the U.S. Air Force was established as its own independent branch of the military. On Friday September 14, the Air Force folks at Hanscom Air Field, the same group we worked with earlier this year, are having a Grand Party inviting ALL OF US AT SQUADRON 7 to join them in the celebration of this important milestone. They will make Fuel Available and those of you who need lodging can stay over at the air base!!! We hope to come out in FULL FORCE and show as many warbirds planes as we can. This means P-51's, T-6's (Reese, can we count on you again?), O-2's, Navions and anything else we can bring to the base. If you know of warbirds that are not members please contact them and try to get them interested to join us! More to follow. See you there! Tom Schinkel Commander Warbirds of America Squadron 7 PS: I have alwaYs said that participation in squadron events is voluntary. I have to make an exception. This one is mandatory, folks. REMEMBER: YOUR SQUADRON NEEDS YOU NOW! |

No big suprise, something at Hanscom was cancelled! ----------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone: This is to confirm that the planned meeting at Hanscom on Friday Sept 14 has been cancelled due to limited availability of planes and planning issues with the sponsor. My apologies for this cancellation and I just wanted to be sure that everyone is aware of it. This is not to be confused with the Clambake on the next day, Saturday, September 15 at Plum Island. See previous e-mail. Thank you! |
