Hadn't heard too much about this show for 2007 until today :D

Brantford Weekender had a article today about the show. 2007 will not have the Snowbirds BUT they have so far is, East Coast F16 Demo ( staging out of Hamilton ), Patty Wagstaff aerobatics ( never seen her before ) Spitfire and Hurricane ( I would assume Ed Russell's ), P51 Mustang ( Vintage Wings of Canada ? ), maybe C130 on static, Lancaster ( would be nice to see some formations with the Spit and Hurri ), also they are trying for a B52 flyover ( fingers crossed ), also Rick Volker, CF18 Demo, Sky Hawks.

Looks like a very good line up for a small show.

Cheers Dave C

Hey Dave, That is great news. I had heard that the show may be cancelled this year since the Snowbirds were not going to be there. Hopefully it will be as good as past years.

And this will be the first Brantford Airshow I miss in about 5 years. My college course is supposed to start one or two weeks prior to this show. To make it even worse, I work on the ramp at Hamilton, and live right down the road from the airport, but by then I'll be in North Bay! At least I'll be around planes in my course, and will have had a good summer full of shows. Glad it's a go! Assuming they keep the Brantford airport open, this could continue to get better and better in the future.

Just a FYI, on the Brantford news yesterday they have comfirmed that the Snowbirds will be at the show along with a B52 fly-by.

The Snowbirds will be in Hamilton (At CWH) for 3 hours on August 28th apparently. Some sort of fundraiser.

Hmmm...

I may have to try to get to that event. Easier said than done in the runup to what will be a crazy busy Labour Day weekend at Mac, but never say never...

The Snowbirds are at Hamilton for the launch of Dan Dempsey’s Tradition of Excellence book, Second Edition. Dan will be there to sign autographs as well as many Snowbird pilots past and present. The new book has two dozen more pages and includes civilian teams such as VWofC’s Fighter Formation Team and the Canadian Harvard Aerobatic Team. It also includes the Snowbirds line-up right to 2007. The event is open to the public.
