The 506th FG and 352nd FG Associations have purchased a chalet for the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends this September in Columbus, Ohio for their reunion. The chalet is 200 seats and is being are sharing with the 506th Fighter Squadron who flew out of Iwo Jima. Chalets include:
* Private secure area for your guest
* Chalet Tent w/flooring & carpeting - providing shade and privacy
* Private courtyard w/umbrella tables
* Dining tables w/fresh linens & padded chairs
* Optimum show viewing area location
* General Admission tickets for each guest
* Handicap access
* Limited VIP parking passes
Because of scheduling conflicts the 352nd will be using the chalet for Sunday only. I am looking to "sublet" the chalet for Friday and Saturday to help cover costs and allow catering with a box lunch and drinks.
I am opening up seating to anyone interested for Friday and Saturday. With 200 seats per day I do not have the resources to accommodate requests on an individual basis and ask that you group together to make the purchase.
There are a few interested groups already, including the 363rd FG and the P-51 Mustang Pilots Association. There will also likely be a veteran or two from the 352nd and 506th on Friday and Saturday sharing the chalet, so this is a good opportunity to see some P-51's and talk with the men that flew and serviced them.
Cost per seat is $75 each. I really want to set a minimum of blocks of 10 but would prefer 20 or more. Mainly because I do not have the resources to handle selling 600 individual seats. Interested parties are welcome to band together to purchase blocks any way they see fit. All I ask is that I have a single point of contact on your end, and that you deal with collection and cancellations on your end.
As for the $75/seat price, the Gathering is selling box seats for $67 each which do not have all the amenities of the Chalet and are well off show center. Box seats are already close to sold out so if you missed that chance here is another opportunity for group seating.
