I will not be able to make it to Burnet SAT April 14 for the CAF show, which is one of my favorites. I'm having a little trouble persuading the Spitfire to come out of hibernation after a long winter. The prop gov is finally back on the plane after overhaul, but still some linkage and other service to check. The weather south of Denver toward Texas is snowy, but beginning to improve. So I am still hopeful of getting to Florida for Sun N Fun next week.

I finally got to do a brief test flight for the overhauled prop gov and new brakes at Ft. Collins-Loveland on Sat. All ok, then overnighted in Amarillo, and now Sun night am in Lufkin deep in the piney woods of East Texas. Had some dealy today due to high winds to the east, but hope to get on toward Lakeland in the am.

On your way to Sun-N-Fun, how about a few laps over Maypearl, Texas for me
