April 28th & 29th will be the dates for the Spring Airshow at Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston Texas. It should be another good year!! The B-25 should be ready to by then with its new paint job and hopefully the Hawker Hurricane will be completed!

This year we will go ahead with the Sunday (April 29th) Earlybird photo session! For those that are interested in Sunday mornings photo session, please send me a pm or email to airshow@lonestarflight.org and reference "earlybird". Tickets will be approx $30. There will also be a photo pit in front of the announcer stand.

As we get closer into April I will send out more information!

Just a quick update. The Earlybird session will also include a pass to the photo pit that will be located in front of the announcer stand. There are some openings still available!!!

The early photo entry should yield the best static shots of the day plus an arrival or two. During the last two years I lived in Houston (2002-03), I volunteered to sell soda at the Spring Airshow. Once we iced down the drinks, I had some time to shoot great statics before the gates opened. If the sun is out, you get nearly perfect lighting as the flight line faces into the sun (at least that's how they used to arrange them).

There are some spot still available for the Earlybird/Dawn Patrol photo session, if anyone is still interested! This will be a great time to see "Special Delivery" in her new paint scheme!!!
