Nathan, what did you think of the place? Did you notice the old hangar? I have not heard of free flights, unless it was like a Young Eagles day. $70 seems like a reasonable price to me, quite a bit cheaper than the local Co. one.

The place was beautiful Bill. On top of a hill lovely grass stripe, and the overlook was amazing. I toured the Soaring museum...i got in that glider sim they had. That was fun but it only moved up and down. I felt right at home in that thing but those cockpits are small.

Looks like P-51 "American Beauty" has replaced the injured "Lucious Lisa" on the HAG airshow page.

The photo in front of my plane makes me wish I was gonna be there this week. If I could find a room, even a bed, I think I'd jump on the airline at the last minute. What does the weather look like? Here it is clear and beautiful, but kind of warm.

Hey Bill:

I just book a room in Batavia tonight, their seems to be plenty to choose from. If you choose to come down I would be glad to drive you to your room in the Batavia area and back to Geneseo on Sunday.

Looking forward to meeting up with you all again this weekend.

The HAG website has all the local motels listed, hats off the the webmaster for adding this, helped out alot.

Sorry but it looks like I'll have no labels for my beer this year :(

I'll have the beer (please no fear) but I've put in a few 12 hour days at work and I just could not make it happen. I'm not very happy about it but I guess that is the way things work. :?

Next year I will make sure I start the process a few weeks in advance so that it will happen.
Tim

Just as long as Kelly brings you is OK with us.

I know how you feel though, I volunteered to cover Sunday, which ended up being a 9 hour day. Monday was a 13, Tuesday was an 11, yesterday was a 12. Five hours of sleep last night and we are hitting the road in about an hour. I think we have thought of everything, which is probably too much stuff anyway. I am very glad to have the work, but I'm pooped.

Dont drink your water too fast. See you there.

Kelly and I are in the Rochester Holiday Inn right now. So we should be down on the field in the morning!

It was a pretty good 13 hour drive for the most part.

Of all the years...

Welp, due to the laws of economics and the fact that I am still waiting on a job offer, I wasn't able to afford the ticket to Geneseo from AZ this year. Wish things were different, but that's the way it is.

Scott will be sending me cell pictures through the weekend, so perhaps I'll be there in spirit. All I ask is for you to face southwest and send a toast my way before downing a cold one Friday and Saturday night!

Have fun everyone! Take and post lots of photos!
