Shall we plan to gather for a few moments to take a photo? How about at 10 AM next to Cindy's "giftshop/membership booth" tent near the base of the tower on both Saturday and Sunday?

It's a date! Hmm... think I'll find some interesting warbird to put on my T-shirt...

I'll be there both days. Planning to arrive ONT on Friday and depart Monday.
Mrs. Mudge won't be there this year :( . Too much school stuff around that time.

Mudge the Lone(ly) Ranger

New guy here that recently joined. I wouldn't miss Chino, especially knowing about the three lightnings! Last year with the P-26 and the P-35 was really cool. I thought it would be hard to top, until I looked at the schedule.

For those intersted in getting your official airshow shirts - and official Glacier Girl shirts, the museum giftshop booth will have both, but we start running out of sizes on Saturday afternoon, so get them early! This year, we're going to be located right at the entrance where the tram lets you off.

I pre-ordered and received my Saturday ticket. I am easy to spot, look for a big black lens and a white golf shirt with a Fokker on the back and an F-16 on the front with "Van Gilder Aviation Photography" over the F-16. I usually hook up with the Fencecheck crowd, get our seats saved and then shoot some statics and wander a bit before the show.

Does anyone know if advance tickets are still available for the $16 price? I know they can't be purchased online any longer at that price but what about directly from the gift shop?

Yes, they have moved the booth from near the base of the tower to the ramp further west. Let's meet at the booth at 10 AM on Saturday and Sunday!

I was in there on Tuesday and wanted to buy the 2 disk 2006 airshow DVD, but you all were out. When would you all have some more? Also, what would be the chance that you all could get some of the Shuttleworth DVD's to sell over here?

TIA,

Lynn

Sunday's looking more likely than Saturday for me, but I'll be there at 10 AM either way!

Lynn,
Come by the booth when you're out there and remind me to ask Deb. She's in charge of all the giftshop stuff. I'm just a simple volunteer :P

the 2006 DVDs won't be reordered (at least as of this weekend) - little to no demand. the 2007 DVDs won't be available for 6 - 9 months. So far, we don't anticipate the Shuttleworth DVD, but I did make the suggestion, so who knows.

Great seeing everyone out there. Thanks to all who came by and said hello! And sorry for having such trouble getting away for the photo on Saturday! We were swamped until closing!!!! but that's a good thing :)
