Zach, I hope to attend. Just talked to my dad and he says the airport is swamped and they don't even have places for aircraft and auto parking because of the field conditions. Any advice on when to come up?
John

They're parking cars all over the place at the moment. If you come, they'll find a place for you.

For those that are at AirVenture and are interested in coming to the cookout/bbq, but don't know where the house is - find the FAA control tower - the road running directly west (or thereabouts) from the tower is called Waukau Avenue. If you follow Waukau Avenue all the way out to the frontage road (Poberezny Road), my house is the last one on the left. It's the only house on the southeast side of the Waukau and Poberezny intersection. If you need a ride, congregate at the Timeless Voices booth out in the Warbirds area around 5:00PM (look for the "Tell Your Story" signage) and I will use my alotted golf carts to haul people as close to the house as I can. Hope to see some of you there!

Zack

Well fella's (Dan K, Zach, Bear, Mustang Driver), the BBQ is probably in full swing right now, and I'm sure you were counting on me rounding up the beer tent girls for you again this year post-BBQ, but alas, I had to fly out this morning as the WX dictated.....next year....next year

...on a side note, when I departed 36L in the Pitts this morning, the controller cautioned me about a Mustang passing over my head, so I looked up through the canopy to catch a memorable sight as I left. 8)

Hope you all are enjoying the get together!

Jason

I seem to recall seeing a "Bear" being mauled at the beer tent latter that night!

Zach,

Thanks again for being a great host for the group of misfits, a great time was had by all as usual. Thank you also, for giving me a lift with the gun doors.

Now that's funny. What happened to Bear? Did he wake up that way the next morning?

Bear's fine.

He flashed the wrong code on the IFF, so the chaise lounge took him out.
