Ober,

Noticed on the Wings Over Houston post that you're involved in the Moonlight Fund airshow http://www.moonlightfund.org/contact/Air%20Show/Airshow.htm
(I knew that from the airshow organizers as well). Actually was hoping to attend that one in the L-2, but may not be able to at this point as a very close family to my family has a big event going on smack dab in the middle of the day (11 am to ?) and it will be either in San Antonio or Devine.
I'm gonna see if I can block off that time for next year right away. It's kind of annoying because I'd already planned to be there with the L-2 (we were asked to consider coming back in April) and just found out from family that I HAVE to be at this other event. :x
Anyway, what I was getting at was trying to find out if you know anything about the schedule... If it'd be worth my trying to fly out on Friday, leaving the plane there (hopefully getting some other ALS guys to help out), and flying out Sat. evening. They still don't seem to have much information up on the website.

Ryan

Thats doable. Most of the birds are coming in Friday, and getting out after the waver is no problem, should be plenty of daylight left. If show runs late we can probably work you out, especially if someone is at briefing, or I can give an individual brief to work you out, I will be with the warbirds all day to closing. Let me know if I can help.

Ryan.....couple years ago (well two years in a row) I had the O-2 over at BAZ for the Raven Reunion doing rides Thurs and Fri and then partyin for the weekend on the same weekend at Moonlight Madness. They were very appreciative that I moved the plane down to their static area for Sat festivities even though I was over at Randolph. Luckily last year and this the two events are on different weekends so I can do both. Sure the L-2 would be appreciated as static and Ober will work with ya (sometimes he's a nice guy....<ducking> :P )
