The Camarillo Air Show will be held on August 18 and 19 at the Camarillo airport.

Acts include:
- The Red Bull Helicopter- You have to see it to believe it, rolls, loops and a number of aerobatics normally reserved for fixed wing...

- Rob Harrison's "Tumbling Bear" Zlin-50

- John Collver and his T-6 "War Dog"

- Greg Weitzman's beautiful T-28A

- Dr Frank Donnelly doing Dr D's Old Time Aerobatics

- The CAF will be flying in the afternoon a host of warbirds including a real Japanese Zero and the F8F Bearcat.

- The only surviving PBJ under restoration will be on display- Come and see the project that Dan Newcomb is so proud of (and rightfully so).

- There are a number of ultralight and home-builts that fly at the show.

It's always a great show!

The website for the show is at:
http://www.camarilloairshow.com/

If you come out, stop by the media area and say hello.

I am not sure how it will be handled this year. They used to have the field across from the CAF museum open for parking, but its fenced off now. It hasn't been an issue that I am aware of in the past. But then, I am usually there at about 6-6:30 AM to help out at the museum.

The skies are a little hazy from the smoke of the Vaca fire, but still passable for photos. I misspoke earlier about the media area, it doesn't look like they have a separate area for media, so if you want to say hi, I will be on the west side ramp on the show line near the CAF hangars.

Lots of good stuff for the weekend.
