Hmmm, I thought the flying was great for a CWH event. More of their aircraft in the air then I have seen in a long time. Especially for such a weird set up, being so far back from an active runway.

Sadly, for me anyways, I will not be able to attend. Despite it being father's day, a day for me, I have had my entire weekend planned by the significant other. I have learned not to complain too loud or too long. Oh well, with St Thomas, TOM, Geneseo, Niagara Falls, Brantford, CNE air show, Gathering of Mustangs all still on the calender, I guess I better not complain. Would have loved to have seen Yagen's mustang, have not seen it for 20+ years.

Jeff :D

Thanks for posting the photos Eric, a swift dagger to the heart for sure.

From that standpoint it was nice but its just too bad they couldn't figure out a way to get the public closer to the action. Perhaps next year they will.

They were short on Chipmunk Pilots, so CEO Dave Rohrer jumped in and took it up. He normally flies the B-25, his arrivals are allway a thrill to watch, he can really fly that thing! Well, turns out he knows how to have fun with the Chipmunk too!

The Fiberglass Hurricaine doesn't look so bad from a distance, especially when it has good company. Maybe some day we'll get to see some of these types belonging to the museum again. As I was told on the weekend, things are changing there, keep your eyes open, you never know whats going to happen next.

Greg87--

Love that last shot. Corsair, Mustang, Hurricane (sorta), and not one but two Spits, inside the CWH hangar. Reminds me of the scenery in Hgr#4 when I worked there, 22 years ago...

Simcoe--

Patience...I think all the wishes are not done coming true yet...
