Anybody going to the California Capital Airshow this weekend

Is anybody going to the California Capitol Airshow in Sacramento this weekend? Does anybody know what specific warbirds might be attending?

I just got back from CA and IT WAS A GREAT SHOW!
Tony Banta brought the F8F, P-51 and P-40. Tom Camp had his Wildcat and we had a nice T-28.
On the Military side we handled the following Aircraft: U-2, B-52, C-17, C-5, KC-135, KC-10, 4 T-38's, F-5 Tiger, 2 F-18E's, 2 F-16's, EA-6B Prowler, 3 Marine Cobra's, Marine Huey, Seahawk, CG Dauphin, CG C-130, 2 767's, DC-9, 767, 727, 5 Police copters, T-1, T-21, T-34C and the Nasa F-18 flown by former astronaut Gordon Fullerton performed two "traps" in a row testing a new portable arresting system for the Marine Corps! I haven't seen a trap at a show before, so it was pretty unique! Lots of sparks and a short landing rollout!
Also, in one corner of the field was two Russian MI-14 Firebomber copters and two S-2 Trackers looking a little worse for the wear.

Don't forget those two A-10's from Davis Monthan, one of which was a big highlight of the show for some people, with it lighting up the field. Sorry I didn't get a chance to come over and say "Hi" on sunday, wasn't sure where to look for you in that massive crowd.

You're right, I forgot the A-10 Demo Team and Chuck Hall's P-51 (he flew the Hertiyage Flight) I like your photo of the bomb run! I wish I had more time to take pics.
During the show I'm at show center to stay in contact with the air boss. It looks like they'll be doing it next year. Maybe I can help you get a little "closer" to the action next time!

Judging from your photo, I was about one hundred and fifty yards to your left. You took that pic over by the static fighter line.

Yes, that is about the area I was in. Used a wide angle for that shot......

The terrain was beautiful and we lucked out with the weather. Thursday rain, Friday Sat. & Sun. clear & 60 degrees, but a little windy, Monday rain.
70,000 on Sat, 100,000 on Sunday! Not bad for a first time show!
A real hole in one!
By the way, we finally had an "In and Out" hambuger while we were in California. VERY GOOD BURGER!!!! Can't wait to come back.

Most of my warbird pictures I'm not happy with. As they are digital, I'm able to salvage them somewhat, but had they been film, they'd be in the garbage. I'm new to the digital world and learning, but more to the point, the lighting was horrible for photography, as the sun was either behind the targets (flying aircraft) or slightly ahead of them. The several passes with the USCG C-130 and the first pass by the Heritage flight were easterly, and thus the planes were "dark nosed".
Don't get me wrong, the show was good, just not so good for photogaphy in the air, due to the suns location .

THose are great Roger! Thanks. I don't get to take many photos during the shows, so it's nice to see some afterwards. You're right about the sun.
I fopund the best time to shoot the warbirds was on the ground at about 5:30pm. The sun was low and the mountains behind them. I didn't have my camera though!
