I think 4 hours is a bit of a stretch for me tomorrow. I have to look after the Dog, I can't kick him out side because he’s on "light limited Duty" after the Operation.
So anyone else remember what Light Limited Duty was referred too in the Navy? , It was a bit of a flash back this week. I had to laugh to my self.

Shannon and I did a drive by of Skyhaven as we were coming back from laconia. On the ramp were a Cj6, Reese Dill's T-6, Tondelayo and the L-29 that is always there.
Hopefully the weather will break in the morning

WOW!
Just got home fron Skyhaven. What a great day it turned out to be.
The biggest event I can talk about at this show was Mr. Shipley!
It has everything to do with the fact that I was in a spot that I shouldn't have been in but it was really cool. We walked out to the parking lot to sit in the truck and cool down a little bit while the CJ-6A was Flying. We watched his routine ("Mob" Lynch) and then the awesome "Tuckeresque" routine by Rob Holland. During Rob's performance I heard Ed circleing at his perch behind the showline at about 2500'. Tuning in to the frequency the Heritage Flight Team used at Willow Run, I heard the call that Ed was going to do a low approach to start his routine. darn! That was awesome! I was standing at the row of cars at the approach end of runway 33 (I think it was) 20 or so feet left of the runway, and 200 feet east of the threshold. Ed went by me in his F-86 while retracting the gear and pushing the throttle up to simulate the takeoff as if he was at a larger airport. I was zoomed in too far with my pocket kodak and as he passed me the camera got a great pic of the drop tank, and speed brake area. I was too close! Stupid me, I wore a pink shirt, it was a beacon to the parking lot attendants who watched the F-86 go by, and they quickly moved us back about 20 more feet as to be behind the extended centerline of the parallel taxiway. It was a great pass as were the rest done by the F-86 and A-10 guys.
I was waiting for the pumped up parking lot guardsman to say something really stupid like "Im gonna have to ask you to leave" but the A-10 was coming and he got all excited about a big gun. "WOOHOO Warthog!" he shouted, as I had expected. Ok, Back to the show. The second to last pass was kinda funny. I heard Ed say to the A-10 driver to let the speed dissipate, "dont just pull the power back like that" and it will settle in just fine. Then they did their crossing break, one final pass and joined up for a Break to land on 16 at PSM.
Other things at the show were:
Reese Dill in his T-6 Flew Twice
Sigrid Bowman in her Extra Twice also
Third Strike Wingwalking with Rob Holland driving
Danny McCue in Bob Davis' L-39
Various RC airplanes
A flag jump early then a 34 person jump later
Oh and BTW The Collings boys were there with the B-25 and F4U-5NL Neither flew
Hopefully the crowd today made up for the washout yesterday and they will continue this annualy Thanks guys!

So Saturday was a wash out? Sad to hear that. I sat home and fought my computer trying to clean things up. So far it hasn't worked. But that is another story.

I'm on for Saturaday at Westfield, I can't wait. I just wish there was a few Navy Demo's going on. I have yet to see a super Hornet demo. Some times I really hate the Northeast.
