Riverside Airshow 2009

Is anyone else going to be attending the Riverside Airshow in Riverside, California this year?
It's on March 28, 2009.

Admission is free to the event, but it's a good idea to get there early to get decent parking.
In recent years they have built empty office buildings on all the nearby fields that used to be used for parking...

I intend to be there all day, and will probably be hanging
out at the San Bernardino Valley College Aeronautics booth
that is hosted every year to help promote the program. Drop in and say hi!

Just to let you fellow Warbird Fanatics know. The Commemorative Air Force SoCal Wing will be bringing the Bearcat, Hellcat, Zero, T-6 and PT-19 to the Riverside Airshow this Saturday March 28th 2009. The T-6 and PT-19 will be giving rides Friday into the evening, Saturday after the Show, and possibly Sunday morning. The T-6 will be $300 and PT-19 $225 for a 20 minute ride. Check in with our ride vendor booth for more details or call Ken @ 818-439-5885 to schedule your ride in advance. The profits from these rides go directly into preservation and flight demonstrations of our Wing’s aircraft.
