AAR-WWII ADT Open Hanger Day

Sun Jan 27, 2008 8:24 pm

Here are some pictures to give everyone an idea what we do at these events. A couple of us are obviously WIX'ers, we sure welcome all the other WIX members in the area to come out to our next Open Hanger this summer.

We had a tremendous crowd all day, with spectacular winter weather (high 60's and low winds). We were able to make 3 demonstration jumps for the public, and team members provided their usual great displays of airborne and other military equipment. We were fortunate to have a large number of WWII veterans present, including 9 airborne veterans and a number of army air corps veterans involved in the troop carrier squadrons, as well as veterans of almost all the other services.
