Google Ads

From today I get bombarded by Google Ads on each and every page I open on WIX. The Ads pop up at the bottom of the screen.
It's on WIX only, nowhere else. How come?

Been that way for awhile now. Not a big fan of the ads but they cover 75% of the sites operating cost.

Hmm ...
... I havent noticed until yesterday. I had some trouble with a downloaded file (from elsewhere, not WIX) and cleared all cashes. By mistake I also cleared all remembered logins and at the next login (it appears) it started.
