E-mail Security

Apparently spiders have been crawling the site snagging e-mail addresses. I have installed a block on the evil spiders. Hopefully this will prevent this from reoccuring.
Some time ago, I aired my concern about the e-mail addresses in the archive of the old forum and asked if it was possible to remove or change them. The answer was no.
Is that archive still online?
If so, would it be possible to edit the archive, substituting # for all @ which would throw off the spiders?
