bummer, I saw it two days before it vanished in a hangar during the Wings Over Houston show many years ago.

Sad. I have some cool pics of it at the SMO Auction, October 91 not long before the accident. I distinctly remember John too, he was more looking like my kind ( a musician) rather than than the standard pilot look.
