Still working on the Serial number, but the last local number she carried was 9Y-TGY, locals say she has sat for 10 years atleast. Anyone have any more info on her?

yeah i checked on that LOOK and its fresh paint the airport applied so the airport looks good! South Americans.... J/K

THis is the answer, she is 9Y-TDY (c/n 19759). I reviewed my pics and the G is a D. The exact same tail numbers and letter are faintly visible still.



Heres the old photo I found, and tomorrow I will take one of the Visible remaining lettering and post it. THe one i took is very wide angle and far from the aircraft.

Her USAAF Serial Number is 43-15293

43-15033 through 15432: Douglas C-47A-80-DL

c/n 19499 through 19898
