Warbird Information Exchange

In the Flypast November 2004 issue there is a small article on Glenn Lacey's RLM Aviation. in it it says:

"Already in progress is a Morane-Saulnier MS.500 Criquet for a friend and a FW-190A for a UK based operator"

I have been through Mikaels survivors list and cannot ID a possible for this FW 190A. Does anyone have anymore info?

And no it is not the Dora!!!

And the Criquet as well !!

Apparently it is NOT a Flugwerk machine and I don't recal anything substantial coming out of Russia in the form of 190s, since the Paul Allen machine.
Indiana Tony did mention something about a substantial wreck being dug up in Germany a year or so back..although I couldn't track anything down about that from within Germany during the months after Tony mentioned it.
The Dora is of course a 'data plate' rebuild, also no connection with Flugwerk.
Hopefully someone can add more as emails to Glenn are not often answered of late

I received an e-mail from Glenn in March 2004 with information about his aircraft. When I replied with additional questions he unfortunately didn't reply.

I'm still very curious about the Fi 156 he is listed as having since the subtypes are "unusual" or doesn't match with the W.Nr.

So any additional information on his collection would be greatly appreciated.

Must say that he is doing a great job and it will be fantastic to see the result!

Be very, very careful when dealing with or listening to Mr. Lacey. The aircraft he claims to be restoring and acquiring are often a figment of his imagination.

I hate these little snide comments from annonimous know-it-alls. If you have some proof, then tell us, if not, then don't bother. It's not only irritating, it's insulting... and cowardly, especially when you don't identify yourself. Slander is not something to be tolerated!
