Here are some pics of the Fire Bomber action in Broomfield, Colorado over the past few days. Lots of air activity. This base fuels and refills the bombers which then fly to the nearby fires.

The ARGOs are based in Spokane, I believe the group has 4-5 plus some CL-415s

Great pics as always. I saw someone mention DC-9 tankers online the other day, and assumed ot was a typo. I didn't realize they were a "thing."

Depends on how you define DC-9. :)

The Erickson tankers are DC-9-87/MD-87s. Glad to see them active east of the Rockies this year.
