It is reported to have made its first flight in the US at Brookhaven Airport on 26 June.

I am looking for an image showing the new US registration N92SQ.

The aircraft could be seen on display at Worcester, Massachusetts over this past weekend, during the Collings Foundation's tour stop - the owner's Corsair (the former "Skyboss") was also in attendance/flown during the weekend (the owner being Ronald Lauder). I am curious to know who has been doing the flying of P9374 since it has been based now in New York - I know Mark Murphy has been flying the Corsair for the owner.

I understand that John Romain made the initial test flight after it was reassembled in the US.

Gentlemen.

Just what I was looking for...and carrying the US registration small under the tail, perfect.

Many thanks.

Mark Murphy has been flying it. Scott Slocum posted an air to air of BR601 and P9374 together from this past weekend.

Thank you Ryan, just saw that today. ; )

From a recent discussion on another forum about the various numbers of certain warbirds currently flying, and where at in the world, the US is now up to about 14 active/flyable-when-desired Spitfires (of about 58 worldwide): AR614, BL628, BR601, JG891, MJ730, MK959, ML417, P9374, PL344, NH749, RN201, SL633, SM832 and SM969.

Yep, I should have known to double check/cross reference the list. I know SL633 and BR601 well, so I should have been able to spot those missing from the supplied list. Thank you Mike and Joe.

Over on the Republic Airport LI NY based AAM's FB page, they're teasing everyone about a new warbird that will be based at and flown from the museum. They say it has a combat history.

The Spitfire will be on static display at the AAM during the Jones Beach airshow on Memorial Day weekend. Their P-51 will also make it's debut.
