So, what happened to the F4U that we saw last night on American Greed?

The scamster's story is here, though there are no details on the five WWI planes that he bought:

After the Mark Avery situation, the aircraft was sold to Mike Potter/Vintage Wings of Canada in 2006. By the end of 2007 it was sold to Doug Matthews (who also had some additional restoration and authentic detailing work done on the aircraft and had it repainted into Capt. Thomas Hudner's markings). The aircraft has been owned/operated by Trent Latshaw since 2013 (currently registered as N240CF). Around the same time (2006/2007), the Mustang that Avery had purchased was also sold and ended up migrating to Germany where it is registered as D-FBUN (now in a polished factory-fresh/bare production scheme).

So I just saw this show on TV.
Who ever it was that bought the Corsair from these two clowns when they were trying to liquidate their assets got a wild deal!
The clowns bought the Corsair for 2.4mil, which is about average for Corsairs, but when they were forced to sell it sold for 1mil.
:f4u:

They had paid 1mil for the Mustang and sold it for $800,000.
