What are your favorite B-25 paint schemes?

Any B-25 markings may be included - regardless if wartime, civilian, or post restoration warbird, etc!

1. Overall Nonspecular Sea Blue as used on USMC PRJ-1Ds and -1Js.

2. NMF.

3. Some of the 345BG stuff was pretty cool!

Well purely on the basis of attraction, my favourites would have to be the NMF/Red striped USAF Instrument School scheme:

Or the multi-coloured Edwards Flight Test Centre scheme:

Both definately eye-catching.

I always liked John Stokes "Laiden Maiden". It wasn't an accurate paint job by any stretch, but it was the same name that it had flown in Catch-22 as.

I'd like to see one in 50's USAF colors.
BTW: I've always thought TB-25s were that last in service...up until 1959 as multi-engine trainers.
But I was rereading a book which said the last USAF B-25 was a CB-25 retired in 1960.
Anyone have photos of that?

I'm fond of that scheme as well. NMF with black nacelles. I have my Dad's USAF flight school "yearbook" from '52 or '53 that has a bunch of pics of those. Some great cartoons, too.
