I am US Navy retired. I used to work on P-3 Orions and A-6 Intruders as an Avionics tech. A served a stint as a P-3 plane captain. I was also a Navy instructor. I served 10 years before being retired on disability. I have always loved airplanes since childhood. My favorite Navy aircraft is the f-14 which served as the tip of the Navy spear during the years which I served. I enjoyed watching them. For many years I lived near a Navy base where they did touch and go landings. I would sit on my patio deck and watch them. The F-14 was a great recruiting tool in my case.

I have several volumes in my library on warbirds.

I hope that I can make some contributions to the discussions on this board.
