Hi everyone

Just thought I'd share some photos of a Wildcat project that's been on going in Ireland, for the last 29 years! :shock:

It was a former Royal Navy aircraft that flew from HMS Searcher, but ditched in a lough (lake) whilst shore based and on a practice bombing sortie. It sat semi submerged until 1984, when it was recovered.

MkV in UK terms but an FM-1 in the USA. (I think)

Hopefully one day it'll be finished!
