Not trying to throw politics here but just wanted to warn everyone that there is a possiblity these new gun control laws could also effect people owning and operating vintage warbirds...particularly any modern jet aircraft as Biden clearly stated. Also tanks and semi-automatic firearms are in danger. I have been in contact with my local reps. I suggest everyone do their civil part and write to your state and federal representatives to prevent such things from happening. There is talk about such things happening so be warned as clearly stated with a talk with my congressman.

Thanks,
Nate

No, it doesn't. This fits in with WW2 Military Aircraft, such as endangering them, so this should stay here.

Agree with the inspector. All it will do is start an irrational and emotional discussion that won't solve anything as it will be filled with half truths and complete made em ups and end up with people saying things that will end up starting fires, hurting feelings, and acting foolish.

Keep it peaceful in here for those of us who tire of the talk that gets nowhere.

So...pointing out that you can't buy an M1 Abrahms or an F15 loaded with ordnance means that we're giong to loose our righ tto fly warbirds? Invalid form of inference. Just because we might ban one thing doesn't mean we need to ban everything. If it did, I'd have a pocket nuke stored in my basement.

I suggest that this thread be locked before I start pointing out the immense stupidity of discussing politics on a warbird forum.

For what it's worth Hang, this is a moderated forum not a public place so the 1st doesn't apply here.

A wholesaler Mrs. Mudge works with sold 1,000 hi-cap magazines in 1 week. It really torques my jaws to keep hearing "assault weapons" this and "assault weapons" that when these gun grabbers and the other terminally ignorant are referring to semi-auto rifles.
OK...rant off.

Mudge the adequately armed

IMHO my post was not of a political nature other then tiny print in proposed laws COULD effect vintage military aircraft. Which V.P. stated are assault weapons too. In the past other threatening measures to warbirds have been posted here without problem. Just a reminder to write to your officials.

Thanks,
Nate
