:supz: :prayer:  :supz: :prayer:  What a great looking car! The COYOTE 5.0 is going to make those bowtie guys stay awake at night.
Here's hoping it brings big money, resides in a respected collectors display and brings even bigger bucks when it goes over the block in a future Barrett-Jackson.

Very cool, nice to see that this has become an annual thing. I really liked last years Blue Angel themed Mustang, that bright blue looked great. 8)

Good for Ford to support the EAA.

Okay, the blue color of the Blue Angles Mustang is nice...especially considering the Navy's long history of Mustang operations. :?

How about a Thunderbirds edition?

The answer probably is...some JAG said it would be an endorsement of the EAA/Ford/young people/mom apple pie, etc.
Based on my 20 years in the USAF...I've never seen a more controversy avoiding, risk-adverse group in my life...especially when it come to the small stuff.

Have ya driven one yet? The 2013 model cranks out 420 HP, naturally-aspirated, right outta the showroom. It ROCKS! Miss Cindy's 2012 convertible suffers from "only" 412 HP, but even so, it just flat screams! (and she's getting almost 25 MPG with it!) :D

Me, too, brother! I'm a long-time Ford guy! :D (the Corvette in the garage was her idea, not mine)

So what's next year's EAA special gonna be? Someone suggested a Thunderbirds theme... I'm on board with that! 8)

No... wait... maybe a replica of Glamorous Glennis?
runs for cover, laughing all the way

Just to prove the St. Louis dildo isn't yours, point out to folks that you don't wear lots of gold chains, wear a really big watch, leave the top three buttons of your shirt open, or carry a huge pistol, so obviously, the Vette ain't yours and you're not having a mid life crisis.

Hmmm...I just turned 48. I think I feel a Mid-Life Crisis coming on.

Unfortunately, as we just bought the wife a new(ish) car, I need to squeeze another few years out of my 11-year-old, 220k miles Oldsmobile (we had to put a new(er) engine in it last winter, so it should be good for at least another 100k.)

Another plus, you can proudly go to a car show and hang out with the other 'orphan' makes like RAMBLER, De SOTO, MERCURY, etc.

AIRVENTURE 2012 UPDATE:

Not to be outdone by Ford Motor Company's offer of a one-of-a-kind customized REDTAIL Mustang, Chrysler Corporation today announced their offering of a one-off 75th Anniversary J-3 CUB Dodge Neon for auction during AirVenture 2012.

In a blatant display of one-upmanship, Chrysler test drivers went airborne with the custom Neon for a considerable distance and have now challenged the Ford team to do the same.
