Located at the Paul Garber Facility. Unfortunately, off limits now.

The tail section is wood and was rotting pretty bad. They did some work to preserve the tail and put the plane back in storage.

I thought more restoration work had been completed since the work on the tail. Does anyone have any recent pictures? Other than the He219, is most of the restoration work at Garber on hold until the new facility is completed at Dulles?
