Once again you made my jaw drop. Most of these I've never seen before.
I wish these could go on through the entire Grumman line, although you're likely getting a bit tired of them.
I'm glad someone suggested Irfanview. I was going to when I got home but they beat me to it.

Thanks again.

You laugh but I've seen this before, I guess life imitating art? Back in the early 90's when I was a full time CFI flying out of Brookhaven Airport, a guy in a Cherokee 140 called a mayday. He lost power and landed on the beach.

Well later that night our mechanic and the owner of said Cherokee decided that they could get by without pulling off the wings and engine, or loading it on a flat bed. Brookhaven wasn't that far, so late at night they just hitched the tail up to the pickup and started a leisurely drive up William Floyd Parkway back to the airport.

Of course you guess'd it....there just happened to be PD going the opposite direction on his way to another call. According to our mechanic, he saw the cop do a double take! Then seemed to drive a little swirvy like should he go to his call or check out this plane.

Turns out they got an escort back to the field!

Pete

I guess it will be a little while before I post any new pics. How many people are looking at these? i'm trying to decide if 9000 people have looked or if two of you have looked 4500 times :D :D
