Caught up at last on Thursday with the TFC Hawk 75, the French variant of the Curtiss P-36. Always one of my favorites from model building days, the 36 was one of the first airplanes airborne Dec 7. What a thrill to see it, the only flying example and one of only three or four examples in the world. Here are some of my pics. Oh and just in case you don't know, that's Steven Grey in the cockpit and Steve Hinton on the wing pointing.

Awesome... look forward to some air-to-air pics!

That prop looks unique. Is it off some other aircraft type that we would recognize?

Magnificent! Thanks for the photos. The ship looks absolutely fantastic, even if it is French. (Just kidding! It should be shown no other way.) The Hawk's paint scheme looks much better than the Tomahawk they did earlier. The was pretty awful.

That's okay, there will be another one along in a while and that will save opening another thread.
