Holy $hit. This is awesome. And sure seems like it's coming along nicely.

Seems like some Star Wars fans in Tennessee finally took the plunge and are building a Full Sized Millennium Falcon. Wha?!?! I;m sure excited and I'm sure many more of you here are also SW fans. 8) Seems like a good number of parts on the original stage built Millennium Falcon we're aircraft parts. Maybe we can help them out?

Based on what? It isn't even remotely warbird related except for the sound effects and the view out the front window. I always liked Star Wars and Star Trek but I am really beginning to think that the sci fi nerds are getting out of control. I say that as a fellow sci fi nerd. Just one that can keep it under control.

I know, BUT I find it very similar to that of an aircraft project build. Be it a replica, new-build, etc. Well yeah it is a replica. It's just not going to fly.

And your telling me you wouldn't want to walk through it?

I think it's pretty cool and would love to see the finished product. I'm sure there will probably be some aircraft cockpit parts used in it and a lot of interesting sheet metal work involved.
