I'm watching the Discovery Channel Show "Black Sky" which is documenting the Burt Rutan/Paul Allen Space Ship One project. I love this project and I'm watching it closely. However, I still find it strange to have a space ship with an N-number on it.

I also found it neat that they had a T-38 resto project (N538TC, registered to Thornton Corp) in the hanger, it looked nearly complete.

Also, there was an F-4 Phantom sitting on the ramp.

I look forward to watching when they make the second flight this week.

They probably should. Mr. Rutan has a design for a 7 person ship and a larger version of white knight. This design is supposed to reach orbit. He also has plans for a space station. Anyone else I'd say they were nuts, but with it being Mr. Rutan I just want to make a reservation. :)
