How many HP are these out of curiosity?

Actually, I think they are measured in hamster-power. I would guess 15- 25 but that is probably de-rated and they are governed for constant wattage output on the generator. The cylinders look about the same size as the ones on the 2-cylinder APU's I have, which are rated by the factory as 10 to 15 Horsepower depending on the model. I also believe the two cylinder versions are de-rated and could probably pull 20-25 with the right modifications. I have been told that several people have put this radial on experimentals and flown them with single seat configuration, so I am guessing you can get nearly 40 HP out of them when they are made to breath and cool correctly. That's almost enough to crash a J3...
