For clarification, I WILL NOTreview Rambo 2 &3. The first Rambo movie was a great glimpse into the struggle of the Vietnam Vet (Rambo:"In nam, I handled million dollar machinery. Here, I can't even hold a job in a car wash".). John Rambo, Vietnam Vet< Green Beret, and Medal of Honor winner is pushed tooo far by the local sheriff. When he escapes from county jail, Rambo then schools the county and state police, as well as the National Guard in escape, evasion, and retribution. Rambo's emotional meltdown at the end of the movie is gripping if you have PTSD, or understand those who do. As a military flick, I give it five stars out of five.
