I ran across this gem of a photo of an unknown Hellcat that appears to be a gate guard or display painted in what are likely red, white and blue colors with the slogan "The Freedom Plane" on the cowl. Unfortunately, the only photo I found is in black and white, and was from the Hellcat registry forum post in 2008 . Other than the note that it was shot in the 50's, I have found no other information on it. Does anyone have any information or hopefully color photos of this unique Hellcat?
