Does Bill Klaers still own this Jug? The registry shows it being owned by Ted Melsheimer since 1996.

The warbird registry is way out of date, but to answer your question, Yes, he still owns it

Thanks Matt. After finishing submitting info for the B-17 registry update, I'm currently updating the P-47 registry for Scott, hence the ? about the P-47. Can you tell me if Ted Melsheimer ever infact owned this T-bolt?

If you like puzzles try here-
http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry ... 7&PageNo=1

If you know a N-Number plug it in here-
http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry ... quiry.aspx

Other searches can be run here-
http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/

This will show registered data current to the FAA. It doesn't always tell the whole story but does give you something to go on.

I think this was a three way trade involving WestPac's Mustang (which went to Europe) and something else. That may explain the Melsheimer connection which I believe might have been only temporary. OF course that's my 15 year old memory of 2nd hand information...

No.
I'm still dazed and confused.

Or should I say I have answers, I'm having trouble finding the right questions to apply them to.
