Still one of the best museums around. Mr. Weeks spent quite a bit of time anserwing questions after he took the P-51C up for a spin. What a beauty of an airplane.

If your in Orlando and want a very nice diversion from standing in lines at the Mouse House  - go about 30 minutes SW on I-4 to Polk.

Cheers!

Unless they blew an engine or it's out of license, it's been flyable for years. If it's out of license it's still flyable with a permit. If it's a maintenance problem, then it's just a matter of fixing it. However, if you're talking about airworthiness, that's something else.

Thanks! I have more if anyone is interested. I was happy to be able to take close-ups of the interior of the TU-2.

Now to find a kit of that one!

Great pictures! I really like the pic's of the B-25 and B-26 from above. The Spirit of St. Louis looks pretty good - one of the few Spirit replica's that has cowling's that look like the original (even with the wrong engine - I hear they are looking to replace that engine with a Wright J5 Whirlwind).

Perhaps replace with this engine? It was sitting next to the Spirit replica. Not sure if this is a real or replica engine.
